Complete Project – Tibetan Nehru Memorial Foundation School

Gratitude /Appreciation

I on behalf of TNMF School managing committee, staff and students wants to convey my heartfelt gratitude to Gen Karma la, Jennifer Prugh and TCEF members for their continued support to our colony’s only school, TNMF School.

They have helped us in many projects in the past years such as computer project, library book project, Whiteboard project, school composite science laboratory project and the latest project called classroom repairing project.

Jennifer Prugh, a prominent board member of TCEF and her friends generously considered to help us in classroom repairing.

With the help of their kind consideration, we are able to make some changes in our classroom.

Brief information regarding classroom repair project 2019 given below:

Doors: All the old and broken doors of the ground floor are replaced by new flush doors. Total 11 old and broken classroom doors replaced by new flash doors plus 4 extra wire mesh doors for office and staffroom installed.
Display Board: Total of 49 new displace board of different size with aluminium frame installed in classes from Class LKG to Class V.
Lighting system: At least 50 new led tube lights installed in ground floor classrooms and 35 led tube lights from classroom Hindi class to class IX, first floor. Plus all the old switches and switchboards are replaced by new ones. Lighting in the classrooms improved.
Windows: At least 24 new wire meshes installed replacing the old, torn wire mesh from LKG to Staffroom, ground floor.
Flooring: From class I to staffroom, all the room floors are refreshed with floor tiles. Total 9 rooms on the ground floor are tiled.
Fan: Total 14 old fans replaced by new fans in the classrooms (class VI to IX).
Whitewash and painting: We managed to do whitewash and painting of classroom walls and furniture from class LKG to Class V (7 classrooms).

I beg your apology that I could not finish this project on time because of school schedules. But we find a great change in our classroom atmosphere after doing all these changes, much better than before.

I am just writing to acknowledge our receipt of a grant from Vimala Association to Tibetan Nehru Memorial Foundation School in the sum of Rs.300,000. As you know, our school exists to serve our community and build better tomorrow for all of our Children by giving better modern education blended with Tibetan tradition and culture. This grant from Vimala Association will be very helpful in assisting us to reach our current goals.On behalf of school managing committee, students and staff, I want convey our sincere gratitude to Vimala Association for funding Gen Set 15 KV in our school.

Iinfant Washroom Project
